Wedding Favours
Wedding favours and gifts
Traditionally sugared almonds were given as Wedding Favours. Five almonds are given each representing health, happiness, fertility, long life and wealth. Boxed or wrapped in organza they make very pretty additions to your table decorations.
Today?
Today though, so many other options are available. From candles, miniature drinks bottles, chocolates, flower seeds or sparkers. Again your budget is really your only restriction - its easy to get carried away, but remember if you have a large wedding party this could get pricey!
Lottery tickets make good inexpensive wedding favours, as do any of the decorations you are using on each table. If you incorporate your guests name on the wedding favour they can also be used as place settings.
