A guide to Santa Ponsa

Santa Ponsa is located in a large sheltered bay, the large sandy beach has plenty of watersports on offer during the summer months with sun beds and umbrellas for hire. In places Pine tree enclaves offer the chance of shade from the midday sun.

The main resort centre offers plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, bars and pubs. The area is easy to negotiate, although you can pop into the information centre located just of the promenade if you wanted a street plan or information on the surrounding area. The weekly market is held in nearby Andratx with buses running regulary to the area.

Marina

The Marina of Santa Ponsa offers a chance to admire some very fine boats and yachts. Here you can find some very nice bars and restaurants and even some boutique shopping.

Activities

Although Santa Ponsa has many golf courses in the immediate area not many are accessible to tourists. At time of writing it was possible to go for a quick round at the Santa Ponsa Golf 1, ask locally for further details.

On the outskirts of the nearby resort of Magalluf you will find Aqualand and Magalluf karting, both offering a superb day of fast paced fun.
