A guide to San Antonio
San Antonio is located on the west coast of Ibiza. It enjoys legendry sunsets which bought about the infamous chill out bars of this island. The renowned Café del Mar is located in San Antonio with its fantastic location and great tunes it makes a great place to start or end any evening!
Not all of San Antonio is as chilled as the sunset strip. The nightlife here is pretty hectic especially in the West End area which heaves with young tourists in the summer. You can find Irish bars, English pubs, karaoke and music bars – and a few variations inbetween! The baySan Antonio bay is a slightly quieter side to the resort, although you can still find plenty of bars and cafes here. There are plenty of restaurants in this area, some with great sea views.BeachesAll along the resort of San Antonio are a chain of small beaches. In 2002 a man made beach was developed now called ‘main beach’. A seafront promenade links the beaches together.
During the summer season these beaches can get a little busy, so hop on one of the regular ferries or buses that run a shuttle service over to the fantastic beaches of Cala Conta and Cala Bassa. All are clean with clear waters - watersports are available on some of the beaches. ShoppingThere are plenty of tourist shops in the resort of San Antonio but for a real shopping session you can easily hop across to Ibiza town. Here you will find exclusive designer boutiques and a fantastic market.
