And if you really want to go it alone.. Mallorca’s international airport is Palma Airport. Its large terminal handles huge numbers of tourists during the summer season – at times making it Spain’s busiest airport.

Taxis

Outside the terminal building you will find plenty of taxis for hire. Most work on set tariffs to the resorts of Palma Nova and Magalluf. Depending on how much luggage you have and the time of day you are travelling the price may vary slightly – just check before starting your journey.

Bus

It is possible to get to the resorts of Palma Nova and Magalluf by public bus but at the moment it involves going into the centre of Palma and then out to the resorts making it a very time consuming option.

Car Hire

Hiring a car for your time in Mallorca is very easy and cheap. The island’s roads are well signposted and easy to negotiate. Car rental outlets are located in the ground floor of the huge car park opposite the terminal building.
