Benidorms Fantastic nightlife: over 200 bars, heaven!
With over 200 bars in the resort, Benidorm makes a good pub crawl destination. In the summer months it’s heaving and the atmosphere is fantastic. Drinks are cheap, opening hours are long and you never need to go back to the same place twice!
The main stripHead to Ave de Mallorca for Benidorms late night bar and clubbing action. Expect a pedestrianised strip, jam packed with party goers moving from bar to bar, club to club, on and on into the early hours of the next day. You cannot move for people in the high season, steaming from the day’s sun and the evening’s entertainment. Just two blocks from the beach, this buzzing nightlife location is pretty hard to beat. The atmosphere is fantastic. Most hotels in and around the Levante beach area will be just a short stroll from the Avenue de Mallorca. Hotels located in the Old Town or even parts of Poniente can expect a 10-15 minute walk or short taxi ride. Touts frequent the area giving away the usual free shots or two-for-one offers.
Top barsSome hot places to look out for include the Cafe Benidorm, Lennons bar, Champions Bar and the Hippodrome. If you do find yourselves down at the promenade, face the sea and head right towards the old town, you’ll stumble across the KM Playa - a 1000 capacity club open all year long, with free entrance. And yes, the KM Playa club is the sister of KM Disco club, one of the largest super clubs in Benidorm, located on the outskirts of the resort. There you can check out their neighbors Pacha, Space and Penelope.
