Barcelona Clubs – a 24 hour party!
Night owls are well catered for in Barcelona – most clubs don’t open until around 11pm and do not get going until at least 1am. Once again here in Barcelona every taste and budget is taken care of. The club scene is pretty wide spread over Barcelona. The main hotspots are the beach and Port areas and Las Ramblas which has a mix of tourist and local hangouts. Areas like El Rava and Barri Gotic are developing into quite trendy areas.
Plenty of choiceAll day on Las Ramblas club promoters will be wandering around handing out flyers. Some offer cut price or even free entrance or free drink promotions. When you do stumble out of these clubs at around dawn another shift of promoters will be waiting, this time promoting after club lounges which can go on well into the afternoon!During the peak summer months the clubs around the beach, port and Olimpic areas tend to be favourite especially amongst the tourists. Many venues have outdoor terraces giving a real holiday feel to your night out. The atmosphere here is fantastic.
RecommendedSpace Barcelona (Nrth of Placa Espania – Tarragona) – At last this Balearic club has reached Catalan shores! It’s been well received and is packed at weekends. This super club comes with the latest technology and some of Europe’s biggest DJ names.Baja Beach Club (Villa Olimpia) – This party club covers 2300 sq meters. Packed in the summer months with a real party atmosphere. Plenty of theme nights and special drinks promotions. Hunky guys and girls in bikinis serve shooters, very popular with stag and hen nights – good fun night out Café Royal (Barri Gotic) – Funky club with a mix of soul, jazz and funk music. Attracts a mixed bunch, stylish with a quirky edge. City Hall (Barri Gotic) – At weekends this venue plays techno and house music. Always full and has a great vibe. Mostly young visitors, good DJ who keeps the dance floor packed.
